Craig Lake Jefferson Wilderness 1999
Craig Lake Jefferson Wilderness (Oregon) is a classic cross country lake
(no trail to it) that can be difficult to get to depending on the route chosen.
Access via the talus slope on the east edge of the lake offers the best logistics
for making sure one does not miss the lake. The north side of the lake has dense
firs that you can not get through with a pack on.

Heading north near the back of this photo offers a somw what obscure trail over
to Lower Berley.
