Taking a break from the "work" work of house building to test out a construction
idea for making my own double paned window from some salvaged sheet glass.
This idea sort of worked. It was more work than can be justified when compared to
the abundance of already double paned window sets out there that can be ripped from
their existing frames. However, without access to salvage, and having the time to
invest in "do it yourself", this approach can be justified.
The plan here was that the right window would be for the bedroom, and
the left window would be for light in to the hall way. The bedroom wall
was later moved, so this strategy did not pan out.
